Gift Tags
Just finished the gift tags to go with the gift wrap. These will be so lovely when they are printed. Online shop next I think! Have a good weekend folks. I think I deserve a half day and may curl up with a book and a cuppa.

Curious cabinet
My lovely Husband Andrew took these photographs of our Ferm house. It is my favourite object at the moment and was our wedding gift from friend and Snowhome creator Angus McArthur.
I have so many little objects and precious heirlooms that I love to place together and this is just perfect. And yes, I allowed Andrew to have a couple of his childhood action figures.

Gift Wrap
This week I have been working on a collection of gift wrap, which hopefully will be ready in time to launch at Paperworld at the end of January. These will also come with matching gift tags.
I have really enjoyed working with repeat pattern again as it takes me back to my textile days at Art School.
When I work on my own it's rare that I get any feedback so I am blogging these on hope of some comments from fellow stockists and friends of Dear Prudence. I would really appreciate hearing what you chaps think. Which is your favourite? I love the owls and my husband loves the leaping hares.

Happy New Year
Hello, and happy new year to all!
I love fresh new starts. It's like getting a new sketchbook and hearing the crack of the spine opening for the first time. January is one of my favourite months. It's a time to reflect on the year gone by and what you want to do in the year to come. It's a new journey and you don't know what's round the corner. I love spring cleaning my house and getting healthy after a sluggish christmas of over eating and drinking too much mulled wine. I want to join the gym but I think that's next months task ; )
It's a very exciting year to come for Dear prudence. Going from greetings cards to other paper goods is a scary prospect and at the moment I feel I have bitten off more than I can chew. However I am loving seeing my designs on other products and the possibilities are endless. I am finding so many beautiful wildlife photos. It's hard to just look at them, I have to always draw what I see. This is one of my favourites. It reminds me of home in Scotland on a misty, cold morning. Thought I would share it with you.
As you all know I am not going to be at Top Drawer this month. Dear prudence is hibernating until the Spring and then she will blossom. Although she will be in Frankfurt next month for Paperworld. Keep your eyes and ears open.
